Susan Whitaker
Yoga has been a defining part of my life for nearly 40 years. I discovered it at 19, when I was in need of direction. It helped bring me balance and gave me a sense of purpose. Since then, I've had the privilege of helping many students find their own way through releasing self-doubt, limitation, illness, depression, grief, chronic pain, and many other conditions. Yoga is an empowering force that can strengthen and clarify one's purpose, and renew well-being, peace, and ease. My training is in Kripalu Yoga and Integrative Yoga Therapy, both of which emphasize balancing mind, body, and spirit. I feel that kindness and compassion are important parts of exploring a person's life experience and inviting freedom and a return to more joyful living. I believe that yoga is a healing art and available to everyone..

Isel Lamoureux
I love movement and it has been a compass throughout my life, bringing me to explore its aesthetic and artistic qualities when studying theater and mime in Montreal in my 20's, and starting to do yoga. Later as an Early Childhood Waldorf teacher involved with movement education, I was fascinated with its inherent therapeutic possibilities. Wanting to deepen my understanding of this rich aspect of movement, I became a Feldenkrais practitioner in 2005. In my private practice as well as in my group classes, I am always in awe at the healing power that movement and mindfulness can offer: an invitation to reconnect, regenerate and re-integrate.
